The Smallest Powers chapter 6 A New Year Of My Own

Tonight was new years eve. I hope Mommy forgets about my 9 o' clock bedtime. It's 8:50. I sat on the couch in my pajamas. Liz told me about how on new years at her house you stay up until midnight and when it is midnight, you cheer and say happy new year to everyone. At my house, Mommy makes me go to bed and she sleeps all night long. Mommy is a party pooper. 8:55. Tomorrow will be january 1st and a new year. I had a good idea. I ran upstairs to grab my reversable robe with pockets. Mommy was in the bathroom so i snuch to the kitchen and got some skitles, a juicy box, and some crackers. By than it was 9:00. "Tori go to bed!" Mommy yelled from the bathroom.
"Okay. Goodnight, Mommy," I said heading up the stairs. daddy was on a buisness trip so he wont notice. I grabbed my tinker bell flashlight off my shelf and turned off my lights and shut my door. The onlt light was from my princess jasmine nightlight and my tinker bell flashlight. I opened the juice box and put the crackers and skittles on my bed. I lined up all my stuffed animals and dollies. I grabbed a skittle and tooka drink of my juice. Now if I can only stay up until the clock says 12:00. It said 9:01. So about, I counted on my fingers four hours until midnight. I ate my crackers, skittles, and drank my juice. That took up until Mommy went to bed which was 10:30. I snuck downstairs with my bag to grab more food. I had my flashlight in one hand and my bag in the other. I grabbed more juice, some more skittles, more crackers, and some cheese. I ran back upstairs.
I ate all my crackers first, than my skittles, than my cheese, than I drank my juice. All of it. I had 30 more minutes. I was bored. I decided to play with my barbies.I wen tover to my barbie dream house and grabbed barbie and theresa. At 11:59 I looked at the clock and ran back to my bed. I looked at the clock and waited, and waited. 12:00. I whisper cheered and said happy new year to my stuffed animals. I put them on the floor and cleaned up my food. I snuggled deep into my pink comforter and said "Happy new year, Tori," And fell asleep.
A/N: Ok, so I was going to do this chapter on Derek's new year but said to myself "Hey, I wonder what Tori's new years are like" So I mad this chapter Tori's POV. It shows that she's not a bad girl, even tho Tori isn't my favorite charictar.
